Heidi is having the best day ever..

Heidi turned 16 last May. She was unable to get a drivers permit, because of the long drawn out adoption process. Well, today we make the trip to the DMV to take the long awaited test! She was nervous and shaking. She was sure she would not pass. She had studied for weeks..She took many on line practice tests, that she did not pass. Today she PASSED. So, look out world Heidi is legal to drive. Well, at least with an adult in the car..Now she wants to drive everywhere. Don' think I am ready to give up my keys all the time just yet. A short drive here and there is all I can handle right now.
On to the next part of her BEST day. She has applied for a job at every store and fast food joint in town, with no luck. Just when she was about to give up and become a complete vegatable in the house, she got a call. She now has a job. Would love to name the place, but that is to much detailed info about my daughter. So, she starts Monday. The best thing is that it is not a food place. She really didn't want to deal with food..
